You can support THE SKULL PROJECT in the following ways:

1. SHOW UP & PASS THE WORD!  To complete this project, we will need to make at least 16,000 skull eggs during the 22 days that THE SKULL PROJECT will be operating.  That’s an average of 727 skulls per day!  Tell your friends and family to come along – you’ll be happy they joined you.

2. DONATIONS GREATLY NEEDED!  To realize THE SKULL PROJECT, we have to purchase liability insurance ($2,400), pay rent to St. Mark’s Church ($3,000), purchase all those eggs (app. $2,000), as well as the ancillary costs of printing and postage (already costing $1,000) to get the word out!  While we have been honored by a small ($1,000) grant from The Puffin Foundation, there is little public foundation money available for such a project.  We reach out to YOU, the community of conscience, to help realize this project.

All donations to THE SKULL PROJECT are tax deductible, as this project has been generously sheltered under the umbrella of Faerie Camp Destiny, a not-for-profit community organization, whose educational mission includes supporting such artistic endeavors. You can donate by mail or via the internet:

To help this fundraising, Paul Wirhun is offering a single skull egg (like the ones pictured in this website), to all those who donate at least $100 toward THE SKULL PROJECT.  These skull eggs are from an exclusive numbered series from Mr. Wirhun’s own hands.  Each skull egg is cleaned out, lacquered, and partially refilled with sand so that it self-stands.  These skull eggs will be shipped to you within a month of your tax-deductible donation.  MANY THANKS!

3. VOLUNTEER!  If you have some extra time, please volunteer to help staff THE SKULL PROJECT.  Volunteer duties include greeting the public at the site, explaining the bleach-painting process to participants, and/or promoting THE SKULL PROJECT to your civic, religious or community organization(s).  To volunteer, simply send an email that includes your contact information.  Thank you for your time and energy!
